It is the mission of the Champion Lancers to serve as role models for the youth of the Carlsbad Community. These exceptional senior ambassadors are committed to the academic achievement and character of the young students of CUSD and model this by living with integrity and making positive choices to live a drug, tobacco, and alcohol free life.

Students who commit to participating in the Champion Lancer program must be willing to adhere to the following criteria.  The student must:

  • Be a senior in 2013-2014
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Be involved in extra curricular activities or co-curricular activities at CHS (athletics, dance, band, clubs, ect.)
  • Be available for public appearances.  This may include, but is not limited to, visiting local elementary schools, attending school board meetings, and meeting with local community groups
  • Be comfortable making public appearances and giving public speeches before lare assemblies
  • Be responsible for making up all missed class work
  • Attend a free portrait session at    TBA   on   TBA
