We are pleased to announce the 4th annual Mitchell Thorp Foundation (MTF) "Whole Lot of Hope" 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 9 a.m. at Poinsettia Park in Carlsbad. 

The Mitchell Thorp Foundation supports families whose children suffer from life-threatening illnesses, diseases and disorders -- and we need your help to get the word out to help "our kids." 

This year, we are supporting 14-year-old Carlsbad High freshman, Rebecca Edgin who has been diagnosed with Leukemia; Amanda Barvinchak, 18, who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer, shortly after graduation this past June, causing her to lose her athletic scholarship to the University of San Francisco; and little Dewayne Snerling, Jr., just three years old, who has Neuroblastoma Cancer.  You can read more on our website: www.mitchellthorp.org
