PHONE NUMBERS Library Counter ….5188 Textbook Counter.. .5187 Mr. Carr…………..5189 Ms. Crum………….5187 Mrs. Weldy………..7119 SIGNUPS FOR VISITS A form must be filled out before any class visits can be added to the library calendar; visits are either for the first hour or second hour of the period, not both. Pick up the form from Mr. Carr. It is STRONGLY advised to book the library and/or computers several weeks in advance. The early bird DOES catch the worm AND the computers! COMPUTER USAGE There are 34 student computers available for class visits. There are 2 student computers available for students who come in on passes. Please send only ONE student at a time to use 1 of the 2 computers. Printing from Library computers costs 15 cents a copy; however, students may still save their work to a floppy disc. Discs are available at the checkout counter. Used discs are 50 cents and new discs $1.00.

 

CHECKOUT POLICIES Books are checked out for 3 weeks. Books are renewed for 3 additional weeks IF renewed BEFORE the date the book was originally due LIBRARY FINES Library fines………..20 cents daily No fines are assessed for the weekends TEXTBOOK FINES Abandoned book $2.00 Damaged book    Up to 1/3 of book cost Lost Unusable book FULL cost of book PASSES Students MUST have the official yellow pass (NO slips of paper will be accepted); passes must have: Student name (1st last) ·        Time left ·        Teacher signature   Due to space limitations, teachers can only send four (4) students at a time to the library. Each student MUST have an individual pass. Teachers may send other students down as students return. Much of the time, only 2 student computers are available for use.   Please do not send students to the library to take tests; we can NOT effectively monitor the student(s)
