PSAT: The PSAT will be administered at Carlsbad High School on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 8:00 am.  This test is highly recommended for sophomores and juniors planning on attending a four year college.  This is a great practice test for the SAT.

Sign ups will begin on September 14th with Mrs. De Luca in the Guidance Office before school, at lunch, and after school.  The cost of the exam is $20.00.  Please make checks payable to CHS.  Fee waivers are available for low-income junior students.  The last day to register is October 2, 2009.  Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating.

Juniors, it is important that you take the PSAT, even if you took it as a sophomore, in order to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program.  The PSAT is a good practice test for the SAT.  Don’t miss it!

Attention students:  MiraCosta College will be offering Driver's Education classes this Saturday, September 12th-October 3rd from 8:00-4:00 at the MiraCosta College Campus in Cardiff and Oceanside. Flyers are available in the counseling office or call MiraCosta at 795-6825 to sign up.
