Membership Lists

California Scholarship Federation

Students may be members of CSF starting in February of freshman year, based on 1st semester high school grades.  Membership is not automatic and is only granted to those who have qualified for membership and submitted their applications within the application deadline for each semester.    Members are able to list CSF as an academic club on college applications for all the years in which they are members.

A Lifetime Member (or "Sealbearer" -the terms are used interchangeably) is a student who has earned at least four semesters of membership based on grades earned in 10th through 12th grades. In order to qualify as a Lifetime member, students must also qualify with first semester Senior grades. Second semester senior grades will not be applicable for Lifetime membership, as those grades do not become final until after graduation.   At Graduation our CSF Life Members wear a gold tassel and gold honor stole.

National Honor Society

Students must turn in completed applications each fall to be considered for acceptance. Acceptance is not automatic nor retroactive. Our NHS Graduation Honorees are students who are accepted as members for their sophomore, junior, and senior years. At graduation our NHS Honorees wear a gold cord.
